Driving:

There is Free Parking at River's Edge

From the South (Boston):
  • I-93 North to Exit 29 (Routes 28/38) toward Route 28 North (Malden/Everett). Stay to the right.
  • Off the exit merge onto Route 28 North and continue past the Assembly Square Marketplace (Mall)
  • Turn right after Station Landing -- sign says "Everett/ Revere" -- onto Route 16 (also known as Revere Beach Parkway), approximately 0.6 of a mile from Exit 29.
  • Turn right into Wellington Station (the 3rd right after the Route 28/16 intersection, just after Kelly's Roast Beef -- the first 2 rights take you into Station Landing) and follow signs to Revere Beach Parkway West (approximately 0.3 of a mile from the intersection of Route 28 and Route 16)
  • Drive under the Route 16 overpass, then straight through the traffic signal.
  • River's Edge is on the right. Turn right into the River's Edge entry at the next traffic signal (about 0.3 of a mile north of the Route 16 overpass).

From the West:
  • Take Mass Pike East to Route 93 North
  • Follow directions from the South stated above
From the North:
  • Route 93 South toward Boston
  • Take Exit 31 onto the Mystic Valley Parkway/Route 16 toward Revere
  • Turn right into Wellington Station, approximately 1.4 miles from Exit 31, just after Kelly's Roast Beef, and follow directions from the South as stated above
From Cambridge:
  • Route 28 North
  • Turn slight Left at Fellsway West/Route 28 North
  • Follow directions from the South as stated above.

Taking the T:

Take the Orange Line to Wellington Station: Then up the steps, turn right and exit toward the Parking Lot. The River’s Edge Shuttle, which runs a continual loop between River’s Edge and the Station weekdays from 6:30-9:30 AM and 4:00-7:00 PM, can be accessed across the road from the Station.  If walking, follow the sidewalk to the Left of the Exit and continue onto River’s Edge Drive, which runs parallel to the tracks.  River’s Edge is 0.4 of a mile, about a 7-minute walk.

From Hyatt Medford:
A free shuttle will leave the Hyatt at 8:00 am on both Oct 4 and Oct 5, arriving at 200 River’s Edge Drive at 8:30

Shuttle for Students/Postdocs Harvard/MIT:
We have arranged for 2 free shuttles for students and postdocs this year.
It will have a sign reading “CIQM Annual Meeting” and holds 35 passengers,
and the schedule is:

Oct 4:
8:00 am: Pickup 33 Oxford St, Cambridge
8:00 am: Pickup at 77 Mass Ave
8:30 am: Arrival 200 River’s Edge Drive, Medford

5:00 pm: Pickup 200 River’s Edge Drive
5:30 pm: Arrival River Bar, Assembly Row Somerville
(those not going top dinner can take the MBTA home)

Oct 5:
8:00 am: Pickup 33 Oxford St, Cambridge
8:00 am: Pickup at 77 Mass Ave
8:30 am: Arrival 200 River’s Edge Drive, Medford
(Take the T home, free shuttle to Wellington Station from meeting venue)
