The Harvard Business School (HBS), the i-lab is providing physical space and IT support to foster team-based entrepreneurial activities. Students and local entrepreneurs will have direct access to venture capitalists, lawyers, product development experts, and other friends of Harvard who have volunteered their expertise.
The Harvard i-lab will meet three key goals:
• Increase student and faculty understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Support for innovation and entrepreneurship activities such as workshops.
• Promote entrepreneurship and small business development in the local community.
The Harvard Innovation Lab is training students to solve problems that matter in the world. By educating founders and innovators, the i-lab can make education more relevant and effective. One way that the i-lab is achieving this goal is by providing students with a thorough background in the principles of entrepreneurship.
